Iwe’ve owner 7 different Mazda’s over the past 40 years. The brand has been excellent in the past for reliability. Many miles with very good results. I’ve never had one nickel and dime me.
We choose the CX5 based on past use of other models of Mazadas. I particularly went with this CX5 because of all the positive reviews I read. Customer reviews are much more reliable than professional reviews because they only test cars for a maximum of one year.
I purchased the GT model and purchased the extra package that gave the heated rear seats, adaptive headlights and a few other things. This placed the car into the exceptional category along with the much more expensive car brands.
I did not go with the turbocharged engine for a couple of reasons. First the regular engine has plenty of pep and speed. Secondly I don’t have to worry about an expensive part breaking down. Thirdly I get better MPG.
Fit and finish are great. I purchased the Vehicle in the pearl white. A very classy look in my opinion. This car has more bells and whistles than I’ve ever had before and I’ve owned BMW’s and MB’s in the past and that includes them as well.
I’ve only put about 600 miles on it so far. I expect this will be like my Miada’s and Mazda 3’s that we’ve owned. My wife and I really enjoy this latest CX5
